Moodle

Moodle is Loyola’s Learning Management System which professors use to communicate and share resources with students in their courses. Moodle provides an easy to use system that integrates with the University student information system. Use Moodle to build your course webpage, share important reference materials, and increase interaction with collaborative tools that keep students engaged in and out of the classroom.

Panopto

Panopto provides an easy way to do lecture capture, in and out of the classroom. Use these recorded sessions for student reference, asynchronous study aids, and in case of unscheduled campus closings. Capture your voice, computer screen, additional camera in the room, and/or Powerpoint presentations.

Zoom

Zoom is a web, audio, and video conferencing tool. A powerful asset for an online learning environment.

VoiceThread

With VoiceThread, instructors and/or students can create, share, and comment on images, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, videos, audio files, documents, and PDFs, using microphone, webcam, text, phone, and audio-file uploads.

PollEverywhere

Poll Everywhere lets you engage your audience or class in real time, letting participants use their own digital devices to respond to your poll using their cell phones, tablets, laptops, or desktops. Poll Everywhere replaces expensive proprietary audience response hardware with standard web technology.

Camtasia

Build professional quality video tutorials for you students, or capture lectures and examples easily.

Accessing and using the MATLAB portal
