Using the Moodle/Zoom integration to create Zoom meetings

Summary

While you can schedule Zoom meetings directly in the Zoom web portal or the Zoom application, you can also do so directly in Moodle by using the Zoom course activity.

Scheduling a Zoom Meeting in Moodle

  1. Navigate to your Moodle course.
  2. Turn editing on in your course.
  3. Locate the week/module that you wish to add the Zoom meeting to.
  4. Click the add an activity or resource link at the bottom of the week/module.
  5. In the pop up window, locate Zoom meeting under the Activities list. Select Zoom meeting and choose Add
  6. Make your setting adjustments for date/time and recurring if applicable
  7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "save and return to course."

Your meeting has been created in Moodle and you can make edits in Moodle or in Zoom directly.
