What is Apple Enterprise Connect?

Apple Enterprise Connect is an Apple application that provides an easy way to keep your Loyola Mac device synced with your Loyola password, alleviating issues with Keychain and FileVault encryption passwords getting out of sync. 

If you change your password when your Loyola Mac is connected to the Loyola network, Apple Enterprise Connect will sync the password automatically.

If you change your password via Inside Loyola when your Loyola Mac is not connected to the Loyola network, the password will not sync until you return to campus.

How do I log in to Enterprise Connect for the first time?

Enterprise Connect can be found within the Applications folder.

Log in to Enterprise Connect with your Loyola user name and password.

Enter Loyola username and password in Enterprise Connect window.

The Enterprise Connect icon will appear in the status menu section of the menu bar.

Changing your Loyola password via Enterprise Connect

NOTE: you must be on Loyola's network to change your password via Enterprise Connect

Click on the Enterprise Connect icon in the menu bar.

Select Change password...

Enter your old and new passwords.  A pop-up will appear with a reminder of Loyola's password requirements.

Choose Change Password.

Enter your old password and new password to change it.

You will receive a confirmation that your password has been changed and that your Mac passwords have also been updated.

After changing your Loyola password, you will need to update it on other devices, like your phone's email and Wifi connections.

Changing your Loyola password via Inside Loyola 

If you change your password via Inside Loyola or from another device, Enterprise Connect will automatically prompt you to resync your Mac's password when you are on Loyola's network.

To change your Loyola password off-campus, visit Inside Loyola and choose the Change your password option below the Sign In button.

When you are on Loyola's network, Enterprise Connect will inform you that the password to your Mac is out of sync.  If you are not on Loyola's network, continue to use your old Loyola password to log in to your Mac until you return to campus.
