Check for Updates

The first time that anyone uses Zoom, a small client downloads onto your computer. This client works like an instant messaging tool, as well as a webinar tool. Typically when folks use the web interface to launch and manage meetings, this client only runs in the background, which means that users do not see when an update has occurred. It's a good idea every few months to open up the client (search Zoom on your desktop to find it) and check for updates. If you are experiencing odd behaviors with Zoom that you have never seen happen, this is a good first step.

Checking for updates is as easy as clicking on the menu drop down arrow to the right of your name and selecting "Check for Updates".
